40th Anniversary Service
All parishioners and friends, members and past members of the Dove Drama Group and Parish Bowling Club are cordially invited to an evening service in celebration of our 40th Anniversary. The service will take place on Sunday 21st September at 6pm.
We are delighted that the preacher on this special occasion will be the Rev. Hugh Hopkins, who, during his time in Mossley, was a regular on stage with the drama group. He took part in several productions playing the roles of 'Tinker Thompson' in Tappytoosey and 'Uncle Fred' in When Johnny Comes Marching Home. The Rev. Hugh has also been known to throw a bowl or two! Also taking part in the service will be the Newtownabbey Community Choir under their conductor Miss Judith Watson. We look forward to hearing them leading the praise. So come along and join with us in our service of celebration and thanksgiving. Refreshments will be provided after the service when we can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and reminisce about 'past times'.Tags: Services, 40th Anniversary
