The Women's Guild would like to thank everyone who supported last Sunday's Soup and Cheese Lunch. A big thank you also to the ladies of the Guild who worked very hard and supplied the food. So far we have raised Â£260 for St. John's Ambulance.

Parish Dinner

We're holding a Parish Dinner on Palm Sunday (20th March), after the 11am Service. It'll consist of a Turkey Dinner, dessert and tea/coffee, all for just Â£15 (children under 16 years: Â£8). All proceeds go towards the Dock Church, which is run by our own Rev. Chris Bennett.

Tickets are now available: just get in touch with a member of the CMS Support Group.

Community Lunches

The Community Lunch Team provide a Soup and Cheese lunch in the Parish Hall on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month, from 12 noon to 1.30pm.

Parents and Toddlers - Soup and Cheese

Members of the Parents and Toddlers group have kindly offered to organise this month's Soup and Cheese Lunch on Sunday 21st February, with proceeds being divided between the club's running costs and the Belfast Children's Hospice.

Women's Guild - Thank You

Thanks to all who supported last Sunday's Soup and Cheese Lunch. We must thank all the members of the Guild who provided the food, served at the tables and, of course, not forgetting those who washed the dishes! We made £300 for Help the Heroes, a very worthy cause.

CMS Support Group - Christmas Dinner

We're holding a Christmas Dinner on Sunday 30th November at 12.30pm. This will be a Turkey Dinner with dessert, tea and coffee, and the price will be £15 for adults or £8 for children. If you'd like to come along please put your names on the list in the Porch.

The CMS Support Group have decided to raise funds over the next few months to help people in our local area: little Aimee Neill is 9 months old and is often seen in church when she is not either in hospital or the hospice. This little baby needs a lot of special equipment to make her life more comfortable and in today's economy there is always a long waiting list for specialist equipment, so to help we are hoping to raise enough funds to buy Aimee a special chair, costing almost £1000. The chair is made-to-measure for Aimee, and will fit her until she is about 2 and a half years old.

The Christmas Dinner on 30th November is to raise funds for Aimee and we hope you will all support this event. It should also be a great day of fellowship, and hopefully Aimee's chair will be on display.
